Here we are at the 2008 Verona Labor Day Race.    Monique did her first 5K race and did it in 38 minutes and 52.   My time was 29 minutes, 16 seconds (clearly not my best).   Megan did the 1 mile run in 11 minutes and 39 seconds.  Elizabeth tried to do the 1 mile, but her leg was giving her trouble (she’s a champ for the effort).     One interesting thing – Jennifer said that she’s going to run the 1 mile fun run next year, that should be interesting! 

We all had a great time and met my Aunt Patricia, my cousins PJ, and Jeanine at the race.   They live in Verona and come to the Labor Day race every year.
