Yes – I was here when some of the buildings were evacuated in lower Manhattan – when the 747 and two F-16s did their photo-op. Not my building - though.
While it was a stupid mistake – in a way it was good – people need to be reminded that terrorism is a real concern. Lower Manhattan still have a lot of security – but I think they have lost their edge - sometimes it seems like they are only going through the motions.
No direct contact yet. Yesterday – I called Pastor Smith twice -and got his machine and he’s tried calling me a couple times – and left messages. Seems like our schedules are not very conducive to each other.
@HanleyBri - Did you ever think you’d see the day when Americans were in fear of their PRESIDENT’S plane??? It may be good to be reminded of 9-11 and the terrorist threat, but it’s sad when a vainglorious, insensitive PRESIDENT is the one responsible for people getting terrified.
In this case, PHOTO-SHOP would have negated the need for the PHOTO-OP……and saved over $300,000 bucks in the process.
